Events may be able to benefit from our links with the Outlaws and Vagabonds medieval re-enactment group who add life and colour to many of our public events.

Private Tours

Are you part of a group who enjoy looking at castles, studying their history, or even just enjoy a great day out? If so we can tailor a tour for you complete with refreshments. (Minimum price 10 persons)

Away days

Are you looking for a special setting for your quiet, away or training day? The castle offers a range of room sizes that would provide a venue from small focus groups to corporate presentations and product launches.

Music

Are you a music group looking for a place to record or perform? The castle has rooms with different acoustic effects from quiet intimate rooms to halls with an echo to rival St Paul’s. Residential workshops can also be hosted.

Outdoor venue

The large, enclosed courtyard is ideal for outdoor events during the summer months; outdoor theatre and concerts.
